IT2BE Data Plug-in output formats added PDF Print E-mail
Monday, 10 November 2008 09:59
2 weeks ago we released a new beta of the IT2BE Data Plug-in.

With this release of the Data Plug-in for Servoy 4 Eclipse we added improved and more advanced support for Excel sheets.

You can already convert a Servoy DataSet to our native FormattedDataSet to format cells, borders, include formulas, include/replace data etc.
Following versions will include comments, images, charts etc.

With this new release of the Data Plug-in you can read and write the following formats:
  • XLSX 2007/2008
  • XLS 2003/2002/2000
  • XLS 97
  • CSV
  • TAB
In the near future we will also add support for PDF output.

Because we make use of Java native libraries, the Data Plug-in is OS independent and there is no need to have MS Office installed on your computer.

When you are interested in an upgrade for Servoy 3.5 please let us know.

More information about the Data Plug-in and additional resources is avaliable at http://www.it2be.com/index.php/plugins-for-servoy/data-plug-in.

Beta of IT2BE DataStream Plug-in for Servoy 4.0 released PDF Print E-mail
Thursday, 30 October 2008 20:42
We are happy to announce the release of the new beta version of our DataStream Plug-in for Servoy 4.0 today.

The DataStream Plug-in enables you to stream large(r) files from and to a client and server file system or a database (record). One of the advantages is that streaming can happen in the background and/or by showing a progress dialog in the foreground.

For this release we concentrated on reliability and cleaning up the code. We reduced the number of jar files (3 instead of 12) and saved 500 kb.

To learn more about the DataStream Plug-in and how to buy please see the DataStream Plug-in page on our website.
