Custom Development

When you need functionality that is not available in Servoy (both Client and Developer) we are happy to quote you for the development of a Bean or (Eclipse) Plug-in.

Components for Servoy 4

In the category 'Servoy 4.0' of our Support Site you can find the topics 'Installing IT2BE Components' with Instructions for how to install our Components for Servoy 4.

Home Beans for Servoy Image Bean
Image Bean
The Image Bean for Servoy adds scanning and display of image data to your Servoy form.

Because the Bean makes use of additional components for data transport and User Interface interaction it will give you new functionality beyond the default media field that Servoy has to offer.
This includes the import of image sources from File, URL and Twain Scanner (support for Windows and Mac OS X) as well as the export of images in JPEG format.
Here is a screenshot of an image shown through the Image Bean, positioned on a Servoy form. It currently shows a JPEG image that was imported into a media record:

MediaManager Drag'n'Drop JavaBean showing state of data in database

Once you drop (or select) an image file, the image will be automatically imported to the database record and displayed.

The Image Bean relies on the MediaManager Bean for interaction with the User Interface and the DataStream Plug-in for data transport between the client and the server.

Because of the mentioned dependencies you need to own or buy a license for both the MediaManager Bean and the DataStream Plug-in additionally to the Image Bean.
If you already own a license for these two you can purchase an 'upgrade' from the MediaManager Bean to the Image Bean.
