The Dialog Plug-in for Servoy provides you with a more informative and flexible alternative to the default Dialog Plug-in.

Additionally there is a method to create a password window. The window can show a login name/password and/or check password. It is an alternative to the login window from Servoy and is created for the upcoming new way to log into a Servoy solution.
The last method can create a milky white progress layer for tasks that are not too intense.

The Plug-in delivers the following methods:

• showDialog
   - Shows a dialog like you use to with the default Servoy Dialog Plug-in. However, you have 2 new options:
   - Replace the default icon with a custom icon;
   - Add an explanatory message which will show on the bottom of the dialog in a text area. The message will be hidden by default but can be clicked open by the user via a triangle in the bottom-left corner;
   - The same dialogs as with the default Plug-in are available: showDialog, showErrorDialog, showInfoDialog, showInputDialog, showQuestionDialog, showSelectDialog, showWarningDialog.
• showPasswordDialog
   - Show a password dialog with a username and/or a password and/or a check on the password
• Progress
   - After starting the progress screen the user is presented with a milky white layer on top of the Servoy window and a spinner.

• Whenever a custom icon is needed in the dialog.
• Whenever an extra field in the dialog is needed to explain the message.
• Whenever a password is needed for custom login (Servoy 3.0 with LDAPclient Plug-in).

When you start using one or more of our Plug-ins and Beans, Free or Commercial, you need to install them into your Servoy Application Server directory.

To avoid surprises and stress during (or after) the installation process we advise you to read the below instructions, watch the video's and import the sample solution.

Servoy 4 Eclipse
Installation of our Plug-ins and Beans is done by making use of the Eclipse Software Updater.
The Software Updater can be used to manually install but also to perform a scheduled update.
To get a full understanding of the Software Updater you can read more about it on the Eclipse website.

Servoy 3.x
To make the installation and update process of our Plug-ins and Beans as easy as possible we have developed the Update Manager.
The Update Manager is also what you will actually download and install before you can really install a Plug-in or a Bean.

License Agreement
Use of our plug-ins and beans is always subject to our Terms and Conditions and License agreement that accompany the components.
The agreements may also be found here and here.
To use the Plug-ins and Beans you need a valid license (Trial license or otherwise).

Licenses for Servoy 3.x
New Customers:
If you have not already purchased an IT2BE Plug-in or Bean License,
go to the download section to download the Installer for the Update Manager.
Run the Installer and install the Update Manager in the Servoy directory of your choice.
Start Servoy Developer and navigate to 'Tools/IT2BE Update Manager'.
Check the "Update" checkbox for the IT2BE Plug-in(s) and/or Bean(s) of your choice.
Select the "Update" button and wait for the Component(s) to download.

Returning Customers:
If you have already purchased an IT2BE Plug-in or Bean License, go to the contact pages to apply for an IT2BE Trial License - doing so will prevent any conflict with existing IT2BE Component Licensing.

License jars:
For each component you will receive 2 license jars. These jars are loaded into the it2be-developer and it2be-runtime subfolders under the plugins folder of Servoy.
The ${product}-developer.jar license jar is there for your development environment. You are never allowed to deploy these license jars.
The ${product}-runtime.jar license jar is the jar you are allowed to deploy when your license grants you these rights.

New Customers

License files:
When you receive a confirmation email it will include 2 files.
The .xml file is the file that contains your Developer License Key. You need to import into your Servoy Developer environment (see above instructions). You are never allowed to deploy your Developer License.
The .txt file contains a license string for each Component. The license string should be included in your Servoy Solution before you call the Component for the first time. Make sure that you prefix the string with the correct element name.

How to buy a license
After clicking the button of your selection you will be brought to the secure website of Share*it.
Here you can add the Component to your shopping cart and continue shopping or check out to do your payment.
After your payment you will receive a confirmation email and we will send you the license files as soon as possible. Normally within 2 working days.
